What Is Your Attitude Forecast?
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. --- Psalms 34:8

It was a day of heavy rains, and the board members were arriving for an important meeting. As they entered the building, Cecily escorted them to the board room and made light talk until Sandra arrived.
"Miserable weather we're having today, isn't it?  I don't know about you, but I think Sandra could have scheduled a zoom conference, and that would have been good enough for her presentation. Hopefully, the rain won't make it difficult for you all to stay awake!
In walks Sandra, smiling brightly and drenched with the scent of fresh rain. She quickly sheds her rain apparel and voices a gracious and exciting hello while acknowledging the board members by their names. Putting a spin on the weather, Sandra vows that everyone would be rained on and refreshed by the new opportunities she was about to present. After thirty minutes of conversation and grand applause, the meeting was adjourned. The excited board members passed by Cecily on their way out and extended their sympathy to her with hopes that her mood would improve.                                                                                                                                                  Unlike the dreariness of Cecily's disposition, Sandra's positive attitude made room for Jesus to show up and bless the board members at the meeting. This just goes to show that anything we have no control over control - be it inclement weather or less than desired news - is not to blame for poor attitudes. When we set our attitude forecast to let the 'Son' shine  within us, we are destined to walk in His light and to shine His light in the lives of others!
