Don't Put Me Aside
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. --- Galatians 6:10

When Frank retired from his occupation, he did more to be of service to his church, his family, and his community. He desired to keep a circulation of hope, love, and unity among people. He respected the advancements of technology in businesses, but he struggled with how it was causing a decline in the human interaction aspect of providing service - particularly for senior citizens. Frank believed in quality customer relationship, and he believed that relationship and service were not meant to be 'auto'-mated but 'intention'-ated. He invested his time, relationship, and service to people, empowering them to know that their lives continued to be of great value in the world. He formed lasting relational bonds that took root and spread from person to person. When Frank was asked what motivated him to be a people connector, he said it was a promise he made to his mother when he was a small boy. His mother said to him, "Frankie, when I grow older and begin to move a little slower, and the world becomes more advanced - promise me that you will remember to take time with me, and please...don't put me aside."                                                                                                                                                      Lesson: Everybody's life has value, and that value increases when we interact with each other with time, patience, love, and care.  Jesus is our model for this truth.
