I know, Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own. So correct me, Lord,  but please be gentle. Do not correct me in anger, for I would die. --- Jeremiah 10:23-24

Do not be too hard on yourself when you do not have anything to complain about - and yet – you feel rutty inside. It happens, and it will happen time and again. The reason you feel that way often stems from a gradual neglect of spending time with the Lord. You haven’t forgotten Him, but in the chain of life activities you fell out of sync with the priority and quality time you share with Him which helps keep your plans and activities aligned to what matters most in the course of each day. That rutty feeling is the signal for you to press your reset button and restart your routine with Jesus first. Do not over obligate yourself to other people or fret about a list of things you want to get done by a certain time. Jesus is not concerned about other people’s expectations of you or your To-Do list. He looks forward to your company and sharing a relationship with you that is unlike that which He has with anyone else. You may have a lot going on that Jesus already knows about, but He takes delight in you sharing your life with Him first hand so that He can help you glean nuggets of wisdom that will benefit your life. So, go ahead and press your reset button. The Lord is expecting you to join Him at your and His special meeting place today.
