You Should Be Flying High, Running Fast, and Walking Tall!
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. --- Isaiah 40:31
It is my heartfelt prayer for all people of God to experience a blessed and an abundant life while they are here in the earth. This kind of life can have varying appearances based on what each person values in his or her life. The kind of blessed and abundant life I desire for everyone looks the same for all. It has the scent, the sound, the vibe and the spirit of freedom. That freedom is found rooted in our Savior Jesus Christ. The scriptures tell us in Philippians 4:13 that we '‘can do all things through Christ who strengthens' us. While we know this to be true, there are times when our hearts get wounded, and it is difficult to find the energy to keep ourselves encouraged. But unlike a bird who has had his wings clipped, or the runner who loses his breath, or the walker who loses consciousness - through Christ, we are resilient! We can release our wounds and allow our spirit to soar high in the skies, sprint across long distances, and walk with the grace and confidence of the Lord! Whenever your heart gets injured, always 'lift up your eyes to the hills, from which cometh your help' (Psalm 121:1), and trust that God will heal you through His grace, love, and mercy so that you may take delight in the freedom of life He has for you!
