The God of Innumerable Opportunities
But there is a great difference between Adam's sin and God's gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God's wonderful grace and His gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. --- Romans 5:15

God loves us in a way that neither we nor the world have an absolute understanding of. He is the same God of many chances just as He was during biblical days. Everything about Him is in our best interest and for our good. Just think about some of the people in scripture who disobeyed God, but by His grace and forgiveness they went on to serve His will for the times: Saul (before he was Apostle Paul) was doing all he could to stop Christianity from spreading before his God-experience on the Damascus Road converted him to preach the Good News. King David lied, murdered, committed adultery and more before he faced his sin and confessed to God - and God forgave him. Moses murdered and buried an Egyptian for beating a man of his hidden Hebrew origin,  and he ran away - but God used him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and on to the Promised Land. Simon Peter denied ever knowing Jesus - not once, but three times - yet Jesus forgave him, and he went on to spread the gospel. There are other examples in the Bible that demonstrate how our God provided many opportunities for His people to get right with Him. Let this be of great inspiration and encouragement to you today and always as you walk in the light of Who God is and who you are in Him. By no means are we perfect, but neither are we hopeless. When we seek God with earnest and sincere hearts - no matter what size we measure our sins or how many times we may fall down - God provides us with innumerable opportunities to get back up and obey Him.
