The Marrow Through Our Bones
But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) --- Ephesians 2:4-5

I know a lady whom I believe is especially anointed for expressing the power of God's grace and mercy. She has a very moving way about her when she expresses how dead we were in sin before Jesus went to Calvary, died as payment for our sins, and then rose from death for all eternity. When she gets through describing our sins, your spirit cannot help feeling overcome by the dark and malice stench of a stiff and lifeless soul. But then...she resurrects us with a vivid picture of Jesus' suffering and death and what it means for us. She says that the tears and the pain we feel when we think about our Savior's suffering is symbolic to the aching of our souls (dry bones) for spiritual nourishment. But the moment that Jesus returned from death - new marrow was infused through our bones so that we may live! The lady's anointed dialogue awakens a dynamic rebirth throughout your body! As she concludes, she leaves us with this question: Why do we act so hopeless when the challenges of this world attempt to make life difficult for us? The source of our strength is Eternal...Everlasting! Jesus flows through the marrow of our bones, and for that reason alone we are victorious overcomers!
