A Place of Certainty
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,  because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.                                   --- 1 Corinthians 15:58

'I'll have to see it to believe it.' This statement goes completely against the purpose and power of having faith. It's not uncommon for us to say it, but sadly, it is a common direction that we sometimes steer our faith in. Like with everything else that involves the scope of our spiritual life, we must think and speak from a place of certainty based on the foundation of our faith in Jesus. He is the One in Whom we can do all things! In Him, we have the spiritual power to believe first what we yet see until we believe it into its existence! Our faith has no time schedule or boundaries - except those that we create -  which defeats faith's purpose. If we have enough faith to believe that God created the entire universe, the world and humanity, and that He sacrificed His Only Son on a cross to pay all our sin debt so that we may have eternal salvation - and we didn’t see any of this prior to our gaining the knowledge and deciding to believe - then our faith is established in a place of certainty that makes all things possible as we labor for the Lord. Stand sure in the Lord knowing that your faith is established in the mighty and unshakeable Rock of Jesus Christ!
