Don’t Be Multi-Negligent
Even so yep, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. --- 1 Corinthians 14:12

Multi-talented people are interesting, creative, and resourceful. But that doesn't mean they are the best or the only ones who can do the things they do. People who attach their identity to their talents can often end up serving God outside of His purpose for their talents. There are repercussions to suffer when we spread ourselves too thin doing some of everything, everywhere and for everyone just because we can. With that comes the risk of blocking other people out who have gifts to offer but are confused or discouraged because opportunities aren’t shared. Also,  other areas of our lives fall negligent of our time and attention, eventually peak regretful sprouts. And when we don't take time out to rest and be restored, the quality of our talents fade, and we become ineffective in what we do. These things happen when we serve God by our talents and not by His purpose for our talents. We do ourselves and others much favor when we seek the Holy Spirit for direction as to where He is calling us to serve Him. In doing so,  we will work together for good to them that love God' (Romans 8:28). Let's serve God with our gifts,  and share our talents with others in a way that will encourage them to be more effective and fruitful for the Kingdom as they, too, seek God's purpose for their abilities.
