While Inside This Vessel
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. --- 2 Corinthians 4:7

All of society wears a mask that we help it to uphold when we buy in to all it says we must do to make the world a better place to live. The call for 'more-more-more' is - a virus in itself - that exhausts us and leaves us little time or energy for what the world truly needs - a relationship with the Savior. Yes, we must do those things that help to provide us with the necessary essentials of life. But this world will not last forever, and neither will the vessels that behold the human spirit. However, the spirit within us has a future! Our spirit is God's treasure,  and He expects to receive us back to Himself stronger in faith than we were in the beginning. It is an eternal priority that our spirit is nurtured and developed through the time we spend with the Lord. These earthen vessels are necessary for our function while we’re in the earth,  and our spirit is intended to shine the Light of Christ so that the lost may have hope and choose to be a part of God's Kingdom! We won’t have to wear masks in our Father’s Kingdom, and every day will be like Sunday! Do what you must to protect the spirit within your vessel, for it is a most valuable treasure. The stamp on the world's treasure states 'In God we trust', but the seal on God's treasure within you says, 'To God you belong!"
