When Midnight Interrupts Your Day
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God:  and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken:  and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bands were loosed.  --- Acts 16:25-26

Just so you will know that you are not the only one...every human being deals with feelings of a troubled spirit, It makes you feel some 'kind of' way that you can't quite explain. Everything can be going fine with you and then this weighted presence - like the forbearance of dark rain clouds - moves in and fills your spirit with turbulence. You can tell when something in particular is troubling you. But this feeling is different. Midnight has come to interrupt your day with spiritual warfare, and the only way to beat it is to suit up with the Word of God! Your actions in the battle should be like that of Paul and Silas! Hear me,  hear me! The moment you spirit signals you that warfare is trying to engage you in conflict, don't lay in it until it passes or run away by distracting yourself with shopping, T.V. binging, etc.! Stand up and pray unto the Lord prayers of gratitude! Pray prayers affirming His love and His power in and over your life! Read scriptures out loud to Him so that the atmosphere of your surroundings will be saturated by the resounding words of the Psalms of David! Serenade your Risen Savior with songs that give Glory to His Name! You win the victory the moment you open your mouth with praise and worship! Do you want to know some Holy Ghost truth? Here it is...whenever you find yourself in spiritual warfare - if you will lift up the 'Son' with your prayers, praise and worship - the midnight will flee, and the ‘'sun' will resume shining in your day!
