Who’s Bored?
But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. --- 2 Peter 3:8

Well, it’s been about seven straight weeks since you’ve been on lockdown at home by yourself or with your spouse and children, and maybe additional family members. Seven weeks...forty-nine days...1,176 hours...70,560 seconds...and you're still sane (just a bit of humor here)! But seriously, have you had moments when you felt as though the air has been sucked out of your life, and the walls of the house are closing in on you? Have you felt - since this pandemic - like nothing else seems to be going on? Welcome to the club! You are as normal as normal can be, and,  you are also bored! But you have opportunities lying dormant in your creative mind! You have awesome ventures right between your ears. Stop longing to return to your usual routine, and begin to envision projects, services, or businesses that would be benefit your communities - even the world! Write those ideas down. Draw up a plan about who your ideas will serve and what it will take to make your plan happen. Consider who you can network with to help make your project as great as it can possibly be. Your focus and attention to such possibilities are like owning the key to the front door of a business that has your name on it as the ‘proprietor’! God places value on everything you do in a spirit of excellence. If you will have that mindset, you will find purpose and appreciation for the creative thoughts within you. Your lockdown won't last forever. Wouldn't it be nice to have a few plans to put in motion when you resume your social activities? Not so boring, huh?
