Just One Thing
"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." -- Matthew 6:24

Michael dreamed that he was awakened from his sleep by an angel from Heaven. The angel said to him, "Dear one, the Lord has called for you to come home and be with Him in Eternity. Arise, take your suitcase, and pack the things that means the most to you."  Michael did what the angel instructed, and the moment he snapped his suitcase shut - he found himself kneeling before Jesus! He was told to rise, and as he did he noticed opened suitcases sitting around all him displaying athlete and music stars, school awards, business portfolios, clothing and shoes, checkbooks and credit cards, fishing poles, golf clubs, and other recreational items. Michael held tightly to his suitcase, and he asked the Lord,  "Jesus, what is this about?" Jesus gently said to him,  "These are the treasures that mattered most to many whom I have called to come and live with me, and they did not want to leave them behind."  Then Jesus leaned forward and said, "Michael, show Me what you have in your suitcase that you did not want to leave behind."  Michael returned to his knees and carefully open his suitcase. He had just one thing - his Bible. He rose and said to his Savior, "Lord, I just could not leave behind the Word that led me to my greatest treasure... 'You'."  Give careful thought to the priorities in your life. Jesus gave His all so that He could be your all.
